Problem #1
In The Bat! I enabled text mode so HTML would not display automatically. Earlier in the old version I had the embedded HTML file (Message.html) shown on the left, and the text of the message was shown on the right. Now this HTML file is not displayed in the attachment pane, and I need to bring its visibility back.
Treatment
Options -> Preferences -> Viewer/Editor
You really need to set in View HTML messages using...:
Plain Text version and HTML
(although I’d like to set Plain Text only — but then the cherished attached Message.html won’t be visible at the bottom left of the message text)
Problem #2
There’s another point: when the HTML file is visible among attachments, a single click opens it immediately. I don’t need that. I want HTML not to open automatically at all, and to launch only with a double click.
Treatment
Disable auto-loading of the dumb HTML:
RMB on Message.html -> Attachment auto-preview
This is toggled in the very window to the left of the message viewer.
